Collaborating with the director Miles Jay and B-Reel, I story produced this 8-part series of documentaries for Facebook. Using my documentary experience, I led both the casting and interview prep processes, to make sure we were finding affable Facebook users who could ably tell the brand's story.
As B-Reel put it, "we cast real Facebook users (whom we found on Facebook, of course) and created a series of films in which they explained News Feed in their own words. Each one is a lighthearted character study that educates viewers on a different aspect of News Feed...In a meta twist, the films were served up to Facebook users...in their News Feeds. It became of the most successful and well liked campaigns in the brand’s history."
